We all know that Manny Pacquiao vs Adrien Broner Boxing fight is going live January 19, this year. Both the fighters look geared up for the fight. This is special for Manny “The Pacman” Pacquiao as he’s returning to the ring with this event. The Madison Square Garden is all the more suitable for the occasion. The Filipino legend is rearing to stack it up to Mayweather for a second time. That makes this fight all the more important and a dress rehearsal for him.
Adrien Broner is a relative newbie compared to Manny. Broner has been an underdog in his last two fights. My gut says that he’ll be an underdog in this fight as well. With that being said, let’s analyze Manny Pacquiao vs Adrien Broner Odds for the coming square off.
Odds and Analysis for Pacquiao – Broner Fight
Adrien Broner has been an underdog in his last two fights. And judging by the success and skill-sets of Manny Pacquiao, it seems like he’ll be an underdog this time around too. Before this, Broner was at +150 against Jessie Varages and +900 vs Mikey Garcia.
On the other hand, Manny Pacquiao has been the clear favorite in all of his last four fights. Pacquiao’s TKO against Matthysse was his very first knockout since 2009 when he finished Miguel at the MGM Grand Arena. And yes! He’ll be facing Broner at the same arena.
For Broner though, this is as tough as it gets. This is his third return in the welterweight division, where all three of his career losses have come from.
It is not really surprising to see Pacquiao at a -230 advantage making him the clear favorite. Especially considering his incredible comeback and his potential future hall of fame status.
Although Broner had his fair share of hype and top plays, his charisma has certainly begun to fade after all the legal issues and him failing to live up to all the hype. Just recently before Christmas, he was arrested for not showing up in the court early December.
Why This Fight is More than It Seems for Pacquiao?
PacMan is no doubt one of the ifs not the best pound-for-pound boxer of this era. He has won 3 of his last 4 fights. At the age of 40, this is nothing short of a miracle. And his knockout blow against Lucas Matthysse in last July just poured life into him after his two years break from professional boxing in the United States.
However, his team failing to formalize a rematch against the Money Man, Floyd Mayweather Jr. was a big blow for him. So, this fight could be his redemption for that. Also, winning this fight could very well finalize things between both teams. Let’s just hope for the best.
Why Broner should be more focused than Ever?
There’s no doubt that Broner is one hell of a fighter with lots of potentials. However, his legal troubles and recklessness have constrained him from reaching to the top of the sports. His most recent arrest just ahead of his fight against Pacquiao just shows he is not completely focused on the fight.
He has a very Mayweather Jr. like fighting style. Defensive yet lethal, which is really good. However, without being focused what’s at hand right now, he can’t possibly win against an opponent like Manny Pacquiao.
So… who’s the winner for you? Will the underdog turn the table this time? Or will the Pacman continue to dominate another opponent since his return? This may very well be his ticket to get back at Floyd “Money” Mayweather. You’ll have to know where to look in order to Watch Pacquiao vs Broner Fight Live of course.
